    Default sugarcrm/cache/upload/upgrades/patch can delete?

I have lots of files in my sugarcrm/cache/upload/upgrades/patch directory. Can these be safely removed after an upgrade has taken place? I'm on 5.2 and have them going back to 3.5. But I don't want anything to break, like future upgrades should these directories be referenced elsewhere.

    Thanks.

Lots of views, but no answers. I've gone ahead and moved all files out to a saved directory, along with the actual upload files (gzipped files) in sugarcrm/cache/upload. We'll see what happens....

Did the same some (long) time ago. No negative side effects so far. As far as I understand the structure they are just there because they have to be somewhere.
