SugarCRM CE for Computer Repair Business?

Hi there,

First of all, I'd like to commend the Sugar community on a fantastic piece of software. Wow. I really am impressed.

I'm running a small computer repair business (only two employees) and am using SugarCRM CE 5.2.0d.

I'm wondering what free addons exist that will allow me to do invoicing and keep track of my "products" which are really just labor items billed flat rate (not hourly). I then want to be able to associate invoices with accounts in Sugar and store them for future reference.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

SugarCRM is a CRM system, not an ERP system!
If you want to write bills you should use an ERP system.
If you want to track sold items in SugarCRM you should connect your ERP system with SugarCRM.

Yes folks, I know, in PRO there is a quotes module and I know there is an openquotes module in sugarforge and I tested both.

But they can never replace a regular ERP sytem which traces any commercial interaction with your customers. and takes care for correct tax calculations.

You should not try to cook toast in a microwave oven....
