SugarCRM CE User Limit?

Are there any limits to the number of users that you can have on the CE version? I read a review of some CRM's on another site and it said that Sugar CE was limited to 20 users.

Hi Brandon

There is no user limit fir CE flavor.
Actually we have customers which had configured more than 100 users.
But you need to keep in mind your server needs to be robust enough to process all these requests.
6GB+ memory, 8Mbps+ internet band, high performance processor.
Configuring sugarcrm and database in different servers, but inside the same network, would revamp the performance.

But how can I limit someone creating more than 25 users (For example) ?

You would need to create a custom/modules/Users/EditView.php to check if some admin is trying to create the 26th user, then warm a message.

I'm also trying to limit the number of users in SugarCE.

Is any one aware where is the user count is stored?
Is it only available in database? and we have to write a query to get the count?

Sugar does not save the current User count anywhere, so you should need to generate a query on EditView in order to decide if a new user can be created.
To accomplish this feature you need to have some php and sugar development skills, are you that guy?
