Default SugarCRM Professional - License and Multiple setup

I am wondering whether it is allowed for the same person to access multiple installation of SugarCRM Professional (within one company of course), let's say on 2 different production servers, with one user license?

For example, we have Environment 1 which contains live data and Environment 2 which contains archived data. Can we use the one license of Person A to access both environments, or Person A needs 2 licenses?

    Thanks in advance.

I would have loved to go through a suitable reply the earmier post on SugarCRM Professional.

We are a Software product company currently evaluation various Hosted CRM options with Sugar Professional being the most likely choise. However there are issues in our mind before we can decide in favour of Sugar.

    1. Can we host SugarProfessional on our own dedicated server? Or we have to choose Sugar to provide us the hosting. We would like to host in our own dedicated servers. Will SugarCRM allow us to do that?

    2. When we purchase SugarProfessional, will the software and the installation guide come as a CD and books throiugh some couriere company (like Fedex) or we will be given a login name and password through which we can download the softare and the supporting documents.

    3. Is there any dedicated Forum for Professional SugarCRM?

I would appreciate if somebody can let me know these details.

    Hi Mishra,

For best of my knowledge (Sugar team, please corret me if I'm mistaken):

    1. Yes, but please contact Sugar for pricing and terms & conditions

    2. The only option is to download the software and documentation

    3. Yes, there is a forum for SugarCRM Pro users.

    Hope this helps
