Greetings,
My company wants to evaluate if Sugar CRM Open Source is a right platform to build a custom CRM solution for our customers.
We provide web applications for a number of our clients in a marine industry. We already have internally developed CRM and we want to extend its functionality. At this point of time we are evaluating an option of continuing doing custom development vs. customization of open source CRM like Sugar.
First requirement is that CRM platform should support different companies (organizations, enterprises or another equivalent term). We need to have CRM for our customers which are companies that have offices withing each company and users within each office. CRM should support such a hierarchy. Based on permissions, user would either see only leads assigned for himself/herself, or his/her own leads plus leads from anybody within an office or a company.
List of companies/offices/users already exists and CRM is not going to be a primary source for this information. Instead, this information should be either pushed to CRM or pulled from CRM. What kind of integration does Sugar offer for this case?
CRM should also integrate with external user permission system. (database level integration, web services or whatever else. We are open to evaluate every option)
I would greatly appreciate some insight if it's worth for us to embark on Sugar CRM given our requirements.
Sincerely,
Yuriy Zubarev
