SugarCRM and Share Point 2010

Just a quick high-level question: is it possible for SugarCRM and SharePoint 2010 to interact with one another?
For example, could SugarCRM retrieve & save documents created/stored/shared on SharePoint 2010?
Also, could SugarCRM allow for the real-time editing and other changes to documents stored on Share Point 2010, if programmed correctly? This would be accessing documents through the SugarCRM interface.
My thinking is that this would really simplify document changes for staff in the field, by accessing a "one-stop-shop" online.
Our company already has Share Point 2010, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to maintain market research and all pertinent documentation in the field.
