Default Sync4j, Funambol and syncing sugar to mobile devices

    Hi,

does anyone have any information on the current state of play with integration between SugarCRm and Sync4j/Funambol?

    http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/about/pr...-funambol.html

It seems to be stuck at v3 and even that cannot be downloaded from sugarforge or via the funambol site anymore.

This would be a very uiseful tool for us - if anyone has any news/thoughts on this please shout

    thanks

I'd like to know this as well. I'd like to switch to using Sugar for email, but to live without my BBery is {gasp} impossible...

    Hi
I'm the maintainer of the Sync4j<->SugarCRM connector. I've had little time to do much with it recently, but I have taken an initial look at the changes to the Soap interface in SugarCRM 4 and how they might affect the connector integration. I believe the changes required are minor. Unfortunately I don't have a test SugarCRM 4 installation to test against.

If anyone would like to be a guinea-pig then send me a private message on this forum and I'll get in touch.
The connector for SugarCRM v 3.5 is available at http://www.funambol.com/opensource/downloads.html, however there's a few tweaks that need to be done for reliable operation. Again, if you're interested drop me a line. I plan to update the connector to v4 as soon as I can reliably test it.

    Regards
    Phil
