Sync4j PDA to Sugar sync

does the sync4j connector require a sync4j server, or can you install the client directly on a blackberry/pocket pc and sync directly with Sugar?

You need the sync4j java app server - but it can co-reside with your sugar server code on the same box.

Then you sync wirelessly from your handheld, to the Sync4j java app server which syncs with Sugar.

Once that is complete, you use your native handheld apps to look at and add/change/delete your contact and appt data.
