Default Task priorities not sorting correctly

    Hi,

I use the "open tasks" on the homepage quite a lot. One minor annoyance is that it is impossible to sort the tasks by priority (as every "time management guru" tells us we should ) - because the priority labels are High, Medium, Low and the sorting is done alphabetically. So you either end up with

    (ascending alphabetical)
    High
    Low
    Medium

    or with

    (descending alphabetical)
    Medium
    Low
    High

Changing the labels doesn't help as the sorting is done by the harcoded key and not by the language-specific label.

Anyone found a way to change this behaviour so that the correct sort order High-Medium-Low appears?

    Thanks
    Roland

I had the same problem, but finally fixed it this way:

Go to the dropdown editor and edit the Tasks_dom list.

*Delete* the existing "high, medium, low" entries.

Create a new high, medium and low, but assign the key a numerical value (i'm using 01, 05, and 09) leaving the labels as "high medium and low".

Old tasks won't show their priorities any more, but any newly created tasks will work fine & sort properly.
