Hi,

I am running the open source version of SugarCRM( v3.5.1d) with the team security module installed.
I am tryin to acheive the following.....The team manager should be able to access all leads but the team member should have access to his data only.

Instead of creating teams for each employee and his manager , is there a better way to tackle this.

Also, is it possible to collectively assign leads/contacts to a team.Suppose i have 500 leads and i want to assign it to a team..is there an efficient way to achieve this?????

Best way is to buy Pro - this is handled really well in that product.

The group email boxes and workflow of 4.x bears best on your group assignment need, I think. And the slightly awkward, but functional, use of the security patch for group functionality is I think the best you will do with that solution.
