We get a lot of log files from clients asking us for support. These log files always come as a text file and what we've found out is that these text files don't appear in the client's email. Basically we don't see the attachment in Sugar when we open a client's email, it's as if the client didn't attach the log file. We see the attachment however when we use Outlook or Thunderbird to open the emails.

We did some testing and we found out Sugar does not display text attachments in emails sent from Thunderbird. Other email clients such as Outlook, Hotmail and Gmail all work. We can't control what email client our clients use so this is not acceptable as far as we're concerned.

We use the SugarCRM 5.0.0b stack with RHEL4.

Have you guys experienced this? Is this a known issue for Sugar and is there any fix for it?
