Cool Is there any way to change the module name for "Employees"?

Hi everyone, Our company uses contractors exclusively and the owner wants it changed. I've gone through the entire sugar directory and renamed every instance I could find, inside every file and folder. It still comes up "Employees" but the link is broken now. This is all on a test server of course, so I don't mind experimenting. Any ideas/suggestions?

    Hello,

You just needed to extend the language directory for Employees module.

Then, run quick repair & rebuild. If that too doesnt help, remove cache/modules/Employees.
    Thumbs up.

    Hi David,

Could you please explain to me what exactly you mean by, "extend the language directory for Employees module"?

    Thanks

    Hi !

    create if do not exist
    following directory or file
    custom/Extension/moduels/Employees/Ext/Language/en_us_lang.php
copy paste the exiting file from modules/Employees /language/en_us_lang.php
and modify labels of Employees modules

    Regards

Thumbs up Re: Is there any way to change the module name for "Employees"?

OK, Here is how I fixed it....

Using Dreamweavers global search and replace function I searched on the sugar root directory for "employee". I then manually cycled through every instance of "employee" in every folder and file, changing ONLY the instances that were labels. For example...

    'LBL_EMPLOYEES' => 'Contractors

Be sure not to change any of the code, only the labels, same as in studio.
    Hope this helps someone....

    Peace all
