is there a workflow engine for Sugar OS edition ??

Hi

I am trying to implement a work flow in Sugar Open source . Is there a work flow plug in module that some one has developed that would let you plug in this engine in to the sugar studio of sugar opn source and let you configure work flow visually? Your response is appreciated.

Note : I would like to state that i am working on the opn source version and not on Enterprose or Prof

I haven't heard of any project on SugarForge or SugarExchange that is doing this. So either program it yoursel or get someone to do it, or buy the Professional version

Folks,
SierraCRM has built a farily powerful workflow engine into Sugar 4.0. It's called Process Manager. What we allow is the follwoing:

On create of lead, contact, opportunity, account - kick off a process
On create of lead, contact, opportunity, account with specific fields set - kick off process
On modify of lead, contact, opportunity, account - kick off a process
On modify of lead, contact, opportunity, account with specific fields set kick off process

For instance; Change Sales Stage to xyz kick off process. Change Lead Status kicks off a process.

What is a process?
A process consists of stages and stages consist of tasks.
So a one to many from process to stage and one to many from stage to task.
Stages can be set to run immeadeatly or be delayed by hours, days, months, years.

Tasks are the following:
Send an email using a template
Create Task and assign to yourself or assign to another person
Schedule a Call and assign to yourself or assign to another person

Finally - We link Process Manager with our Marketing Campaigns module allowing you to run campagins such as sending out a birthday email, or a monthly company newsletter, etc.
