Thunderbird plug-in for SugarCRM

Hi,

I am using the OpenSource version of SugarCRM 4.2 and want to hock it into my email. Now the IMAP stuff is great but I want to integrate with Thunderbird. We do not use Outlook in our company so what are my options?

I see ...... produce a Thunderbird extension so it cannot be that tough, Do I have to go to ...... to get Thunderbord integration? I would prefer to stay with SugarCRM if possible. I am happy to buy it..

So I guess that Thunderbird support is not on the roadmap
