Time logging for cases and project tasks

Hi,

I couldn't find any add ons or extension for what I want, so I was wondering if any of you have done it or have any ideas on the best way to do it.

What I want is for the employees who work on a case or project task to log their time, ex: Open (work on case) Close, and it saves the amount of time they worked on, so we can track. Currently we have to manually edit them to add the time.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We currently have the trial version installed of supertimesheet. But can Users "log in a task" and it will capture the time they were logged in it? Or do they have to go manually enter it once there done there case or task.?
