I am new to sugar after quite a few years with an old version of ....... (hmmm. tried to write another CMS that was a fork from Sugar and starts with a "V" and ends with a dangerous animal often related to Africa. Why is that shysss?)
What is the best practice for Time Tracking?
I could see in the demoes that I can track time on a project, estimated vs. actual time. That is good. But I would like more.
I would like every user to fill in a daily report how they spent there time. It would be really good, if it could be integrated with a small "add time" for basically anything in Sugar. So add time to account, contact, lead bug, task, case, project task.
In that way a repoort can be made for the time spendt on leads bugs, tasks etc. and also for a given account (the sum on bugs, task, case, contact related to that account and easily split out on the employees that have added time.).
In an ideal world I would my employees would be able to plot in 100% of there worktime on activities in Sugar. I guess that has been discussed and maybe some solutions are out there? Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have just installed the free version to try it out. It seems cool, so I guess we stick with Sugar.
