tips and tricks integrate Sugar SaaS with third party financial software

Dear Sugar colleague

I am wondering, in case a customer is using Sugar SaaS solution and I want to integrate this package with a third party database like a financial package.

What is your experience. Are there any obstacles because the database of SugarCRM is running (somewhere) in the cloud (instead of running in your own environment ). Do you have tips and tricks?

Hi Edwin,

SugarCRM provides a webservices API for integration. All Sugar modules, including custom modules, can be accessed via the API. It is possible to do pretty much any operation on a record and related records, e.g. Add, Delete, Update.
