Hi Flagio, I think paikmoses might have misinterepreted your request. He's usually "spot on" as they say in the UK but not this time!
Perhaps you can use the Projects module to track individuals' hours, whether volunteered or not. Or, maybe, a Task record can be used.

Or, you could use the excellent add-on module called "SugarTime", which is available on SugarForge. There are other projects there as well; just search for the word "time" and you'll see a list of them.

Ah, good catch, Ms Williams.

Thx for all your answers!
In the meantime I received a more detailed desciption of requirements/wishes for this project.
We want to integrate a volunteer system in an existing Joomla website. Here's a short list:
1. Show a list of volunteer tasks to every member
2. Member can sign up with multiple volunteer tasks, this can be one-time-only or recurring tasks
3. Members should be able to sign up for volunteer tasks chosen from a list of events (list or calendar)
4. Members should receive an email reminder a few days before the event they signed up to will start
5. Members can see a list of volunteer tasks they fulfilled, against a list of volunteer time they should fulfill in a year
6. Volunteer task managers can assign members to certain volunteer tasks after having contact
7. The task owner (person/member who is responsible for selecting volunteers for an event) administrates fulfilled tasks
Perhaps important to know is that every member of the club is required to fulfill a minimum amount of volunteer tasks a year. If not, a bill will be sent afterwards (members can pay a certain amount a year to buy off their volunteer requirements though). Is this also possible?
Thanks, Flagio
Ah, thanks andydreisch for the elaboration
