Travelling Salesman Problem

Has anyone tried to solve the Travelling Salesman Problem by linking Sugar to Google maps.

This site seems to have part of the solution but wondered if there was a bridge between the two

Couldn't you just feed the addresses into this app and let it generate the map for you?

Yes that's what we do now.

My interest is perhaps more of a fundamental question in that the TSP is another form of campaigning. After all, "face time" beats emails and mailshots everytime - but as it is the most expensive, it is the one that needs the most efficient solution.

I'm surprised it has not been raised before now.

I think this an interesting problem, that I think having a broader community discussion would be good to see. Perhaps starting a new thread with this sort of context would gather some more interest.
