Hi @ll
I was wondering what's the "typical" implementation time of a sugarCRM system for 10 to 20 users.
Thanks,
George

At my office, ours was about 60 hours to support 6 users. Our infrastructure was already in place (apache/mysql server) so it was literally install and play with for a few days followed by a quick 2 day mult-user trial.
All of our users had used some type of CRM tool before so there were no training issues. It's also a small company so there was no time wasted on evaluating, reporting to management, justifying costs/decision to use it etc.
Had I used this at my last job (100+ users) I would say to be safe it would be at least a month to properly evaluating, test and train.
In short, it's a tough call, it really depends on what customizations you need, what current infrastructure you have, how saavy your users are etc.
Thanks for the information, y2chuck. Could you also tell me how many people got involved in the implementation project?
We're a small org, so there were only 3 of us. Myself as PM and Dev, the other 2 were test users (my boss and a sales/bus dev guy)
We just tested the most common features we'd use so cases/support type of stuff wasn't really tested that well. We pretty much only use the accounts/projects/tasks and docs modules and I built a custom report module to tie Sugar into our other systems.
