Unable to sent email notification from localhost

Hi Folks

I need suggestions on the mentioned topic. I have configured sugarcrm email settings for email notifications but still having problems on sending a notification on assigning any job to an user. Even email module is also unable to sent the outbound (SMTP) emails. But for inbound (POP3) it is working properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I only recently installed sugar. I think I had to set up the email settings for both the system (admin) and the user. You may not have notifications on (I think they are off by default) or you may need to use smtp authentication.

I have checked the settings of user and also the mail. Nothing is wrong there. Notification is on and smtp authentication is also ok. But still mail is not going from the localhost.....

I dont know what is wrong..

Hi

I am still unable to find why emails are not going from my localhost. As previously told I have done all the related changes for sending email. Surprisingly mails are going from my hosted server with same change compared to localhost. Can anyone tell what is wrong with me ??
