The user interface has some annoying behavior. I tried this with the Sugar Theme on 4.20d and with the Fudge Plus Theme.

Go to cases, Sort the cases after account -- navigate away from the page i.e. contacts. Go back to cases. Its sorted after accounts, but depending how you had it sorted (up or down) it resorted.

Now, go into a case .. Sort the Notes after Subject. Navigate away.

Navigate back into the same case. It does not remember what you sorted the notes after the last time. It is always sorted after date, with the old note at the top.

HAs anyone noticed this -- or fixed this?

We have the same problem on our open source install. I'm going to attempt a cookie or sql save of the last sort by setting and have it use that as the default when it loads or have a default to date or name sort. ill let you know on my developements, curerntly getting a sever up with a blasnk install and then svn sever with the code of sugar so i can hopefully give back tot he community.
