Hi everyone,

after searching through different SufgarCRM plugins, i didn't find one for my problem.

How can i make everything in the CRM be related to the Project it belogs to, so that everything - Agents, Contacts, etc could would be assigned to a project. Also, a user could be assigned to one or more projects and he would have access to only the Accounts, Contacts, etc that belong to the projects he is assigned to.

It's like applying security restrictions by project on records from Accounts, Contacts, etc.

Any ideas on this?

Assign the project to a Users

Select Contacts and Agents (presumably they are a Contact type) to the Project from the Project>Contacts subpanel

Set the access permissions in roles to view only owner

salesagility , thank you for this, it is really helpful to understand how things work here.

To follow your approach, how can i do it if more users have access to the same project, than the permission "owner only" is the thing that stops me, right? I can't assign 2 users being the owner of the same project and as a result this means i have to search for something more...

You should probably experiment with some of the Teams modules in SugarForge.

The you can assign users/projects to Teams and assign the role permissions to Teams
