Hi!
I'm evaluating SugarCRM for one of our sales departments. This particular department has a peculiar set up in that the department is broken up into several teams that sell different products and within those teams there are people with specialized roles for certain customers.
So, I have 4 questions about how SugarCRM would handle this situation:
1. Can I restrict what records a team sees (only certain customers out of the whole customer list)?
2. Can I restrict the records down to only the assigned salespeople once they are assigned (so we have an open pool of "leads" and that pool shrinks when the leads are assigned out to salespeople)?
3. Can I restrict what fields an assigned salesperson sees based on role or team (i.e. if the salesperson is selling a particular product they only see the questions for that product whereas someone in a different role or team would see the fields based on their product)?
4. Can I assign multiple salespeople to a customer? We have some salespeople who act as account managers for the client and some that act as "sponsors" (3rd parties with a particular interest in the way the customer relationship is handled). We would like for both to be assigned to the record and for both to be emailed when certain steps happen in the workflow, along with the sales manager. Sponsors are not all the same people for every client. Sponsors can be salespeople for other clients and vice-versa.
Thanks for the info!
Sincerely,
Kelley O'Donnell
