    Default Users other than Admin can not see leads or contacts...

    I am not sure the reason as I am just starting out using SugarCRM, but I have created some test users and when they create a lead, the lead is visible on the home screen dashlet, but not by going into sales-leads. As admin, I can see it in the admin account, but they users themselves can not see them! However, if they create a lead, the lead is visible in the "last viewed" toolbar, and can even be edited. HELP, thank you.

    Hello srobb,

    try to click the Clear button on the list view for those users and see if anything appears.

    Also, check to see if you have any roles set up that has a restriction on the List option.

    Sugarcane,

    I tried your suggestions, the clear is meant to clear the defined search correct? I pressed clear and nothing happened. I have no Roles set up, and went in to them and made sure nothing was attached and that they had all permissions to all everything. Any other ideas?

    Hello srobb,

    yes, clicking the clear button should clear any search results.

    What field is the list view sorting by? I have seen a bug in the past where if you sorted by certain fields, nothing would appear in the list. Try to click on the Name field and see if that does anything.

    Also check to make sure that there are no fields in the search panel that are defaulting to a value. I have seen this before when a client has added the website field to the search panel, and it auto populates with http://.

    Have you installed anything recently or has any custom code recently been implemented? If so, this could maybe also be part of the problem.

    I did try installing the CE Teams module. I did uninstall it and did a repair on everything - is there anything else I can do?

    Make sure the team for the lead or contact is set the global team if you want to allow all users to view the record.
