It would seem to be very useful to be able to export the data from one version of SugarCRM (e.g., 3.5.1), then import the data using the Import capability on another version.

This would be one approach to version upgrades, and would also provide a means of migrating the SugarCRM from one server to another (with a possible Version upgrade).

Is this a feasible means of upgrading SugarCRM versions?

It appears that when attempting to import the Accounts it doesn't recognize the Company Name. In fact, it would be very useful if it recognized "SugarCRM" as being one of the import types - in addition to Act, Sales Force, etc.

What do you-all think of this approach?
