Vendor management

Just wondering how other people keep track of contacts who are not clients such as vendors. I have a couple of dozen vendors that I use for a variety of different services. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Hello,

there is a Type dropdown in the Accounts module. Here you can set whether or not the account is a client, vendor etc. So you would go with the logic that any contact logged against this account is a vendor contact. If you want to be able to view this information on the contact record itself, or if you can have more than one contact type per account, you can always create a custom dropdown field for Contact type
