Very Required Features.....

I have been using Sugar CRM Community Edition for about a month.

I am really impressed with customisation options provided.

I could do almost everything but still certain inbuilt features could avoid using 3rd party softwares like open office.

1. Support for Auto Incremental Field - to create either voucher number / call ticke number in auto mode.

2. Support for Calculated field.

3. Support for Value validation.

4. Search support for like, less than, more than, not matching etc.

Incidentally report facility though Open office makes my job very easy.

Another feature required i left to mention that ability to format the field [ e.g. Upper case only, Lower case only, pin number formatting etc ]

1. Support for Auto Incremental Field - to create either voucher number / call ticke number in auto mode. It exists by default.
2. Support for Calculated field. It will be implemented into new release 6.0
3. Support for Value validation. It exist by default, you just need to create extended vardefs for them.
4. Search support for like, less than, more than, not matching etc. I wish it will be implemented soon. We had implemented it for a customer. It is not so easy to do, but it is possible.

andopes: what do you mean with value validation? Do you have a proper Vardefs documentation?

Hi SugarDev.

I have no a proper documentation.
But you can find some validation defs into vardefs of some modules, like ProjectTasks.
Take a look at the jssources/src_files/include/javascript/sugar_3.js
There are several validation functions which works according the 'validation' attribute into vardefs.
