when i go to the detailed view on any contacts I see the "Direct Reports" thing, but I see no point for it, I mean when I click to create a new one it simply takes me to create a new contact, so could somone please explain to me the purpose of it![]()

I assume you mean the "Reports to" field, right? This is meant for defining who's the boss of your contact. i.e. if you have Condi Rice as contact, it would be George W. in the Reports to field. I hope :-)
No, I mean the "Direct Reports" that appear at the bottom of the Contacts Detailed View window under "Bug Tracker", this is at the Open source version
Using Bogey63's example...
1. Condi Rice record shows she "Reports To" George Bush
2. When you look at George Bush's record, you will see Condi Rice listed under "Direct Reports"
It basically keeps track of all the people who report directly to the current contact. I hope that helps.
thanks, i guess that explains it![]()
