What version of Sugar Suite are you using?

Hi folks -

We are looking at ending distribution of Sugar Suite 2.5.1 at year end and this has raised the discussion of how many people are using which version. So I thought an informal poll would be a good way seeing what versions most people are using. If you're not sure, just click on the "About" link in the upper right of your app.

Is there a study to see what the usage is amngst customers between versions: OS, Pro and Enterprise?
It would be good to know which flavour of the product the posts that are in forum related to? OS, Pro or Ent.

Reason I ask is that I can see features that I need in the Pro version and higher that are not in the OS version.

There ARE forums for Professional and Enterprise, but people keep posting in the OS forums, just because some of the issues also concern the OS community and sometimes they do not realize, they created a pro-thread in the open source part.

Have a look at the forum business discussion. There is a subrofum called customer support, which deals with the abilities and feature requests for the customer support part of SugarCRM, but people keep posting their problems in like: Hey, i cannot install sugar, i cannot upgrade etc. Some of them are even cross posting, entering their (identical) posts in different forums and finally you find the ones, who do not even know, there is a search option for the forums and they post questions, which have been answered just one thread below theirs.

So, what now? You'd need a whole bunch of moderators, who sort everything out, move the posts in the correct forums, delete cross posts etc. If you look into it and realize, how much posts are added each day, you will realize, that this is a battle whcih can't be won at all, unfortunately.

And, on the other hand, it is a common problem with forums.....

So what?

Shouldn't this poll be updated to include 4.2?
I'm sure that a lot of the people who originally voted have since upgraded to 4.0.x, so I wonder if it wouldn't make sense to start it over?
