Where the heck is the "Sugar Add-in for Microsoft Word"?

I was wondering where the Sugar Add-in for Microsoft Word is located. It mentions this within the application and in the manual but I can not find ANY information on where I'm to find this needed componenet of the mail merge functionality.

Good Question Phil I was wondering my self this feature is listed and has been listed in 4.0os since the community preview and I think we deserve a answer your not the only one asking this, either am I. I do have the add-in but it is from the pro demo version since it was not in the os demo but listed as a useable feature. but I don’t think it will work with 4.0ga..Here is the true question is this a actual feature, no where in any documentation does it say anything about having to purchase the add-in which I think will be the case. since it is no where to be found in the mail merge folder like it says it should be. And if it is a purchasable add-in why isn’t it available for purchase? And why wasn’t that said in the community preview or the user guide, isn’t that kind of like false advertising a product. And why release a product with a useless feature if it only works with the word add-in. kinda weird if you ask me, the even weirder think is the lack of response from the sugar team on this issue. Of why the mail merge feature doesn’t work
So sugar team you want to let all of us os user’s the truth is this actually a os feature
Or just false advertiseing or is there a problem with it?

The beta word plugin still works with the GA 4.0 version. As admin you have to enable the mail merge option in the config. There is also an option for the mail merge function, that has to be enabled in the user settings. After you enabled all, you can still use the beta plugin. Of course, I don't know if it is allowed and how long it will work.

Hi Folks,

I did actually download this plugin although it now appears to be missing from the download page. I have submitted two seprate bugs - #4002 and #4034 - and I would certainly not consider it production ready. One of the bugs has been marked as fixed in 4.0.1 which is not yet available for download but I suppose is in cvs/svn or whatever. However a bit more information from the team on this would be helpful as this really is a key feature for me.
