where is the html code that creates the pages in sugarcrm

i am totally new to php,javascript and sugarcrm.

i have installed it on a server and it's running fine but when i studied the code, i did not find the tags and other things that create the page. but when i click on View Source in browser(IE) ,i can see the code in notepad. I know that the php file returns the html code to browser. but where that code is written in the php code of sugarcrm...
please help me out

I have understood the conceptual part of the code, but i did not understand the xTemplate part in it. Also the variables that have been used are too many. so is there any way to understand these variables and the xTemplate concept??

Please guide in this regard....
