Angry Why you release product without testing

    Dear Friends,
I feel I am living in hell. My life becomes terrible as I start working on sugarcrm new version sugarcrm 5.2.0c .
It has so many bugs I feel. Some problems that made my life hell are :
01.If I tried to upgrade my version from 5.2.0a or 5.2.0b to 5.2.0c it hangs and won’t allow me to upgrade.
02.I need Firefox to download upgrade patch as it shows blank screen in download area on ie.
03.Anyhow if I upgrade (very very rarely I succeed )or I install fresh sugarcrm 5.2.0c then I face problem in importing my contacts which are in csv format. Like if I try to import 1500 records in my contacts ,sometimes it imports only 1000 records and sometimes 1479 and sometimes any different figure. Why the hell it won’t import all the records and its ok sometimes we do some silly mistakes in our csv files but now I am not able to find out my mistakes or error as I won’t find out an error record in new version by which I can identify where the hell problem is.
Please help me out as I am found of sugar crm and sugar crm community. It’s really painful for users like me that upgrading the product become headache to work on.
For me upgrade means more improved final product not more and more buggy product.

    Please help me out friends.

#2 - Sounds like a local issue. Works fine for us
#3 - Sounds like a data issue. Sugar (or any system for that matter) can't do magic on badly formatted data coming in.

    Hi adityadubay,

I can assure you that we definitely test our products before releasing them.

I am more than happy to help you out if you can share your environment, like operating system, web server, database, and php version, with me and how you reproduced your problems.

    1) We test upgrades everyday. I am sure it works. Please give more details.
    2) We download the upgrade patches everyday. It works fine for us. Please tell me how you downloaded the patch?
    3) We tested imports with thousands records. It works fine. We can test your import file if you don't mind to share it to us.

    Thanks,
    Franklin

    Hi Franklin
    Thanks for reply
I would like to say sorry for my rude behavior , but you know sometimes if you tried hard and still things are not in control that time this type of frustration comes. Anyways these are some information which I can provide you:
Server where sugarcrm 5.2.0c is installed :
    Web Server Provider Site Ground
    Apache version 1.3.41 (Unix)
    PHP version 5.2.5
    MySQL version 4.1
    Architecture i686
Operating system Linux (Red Hat OS)

Operating system from where we import/export our data : Ubuntu 8.10 & Windows XP
Please find the attachment(UpgradeByIE.zip) for process where we found problem in downloading upgrades.
Please provide me list of patches for sugarcrm 5.2.0c
There is one more attachment ( Import.zip) with this message where I try to show “How I import contacts in crm( Image 1 to 4), What kind of error I am getting( Image 5) and What’s the end result (After 3 attempts I am able to import 1000 records out of 1609 records and in sugarcrm 5.2.0c I am not able to find out records which are not imported due to some reason and now I can’t find out error reports )”.
I hope above information and an attached zip file helps you to understand my problems.
If you need more information please ask.
    Regards,
    Aditya

Thanks for your advice.I feel that there are many things in sugarcrm which requires your attention otherwise
you are not able to provide good opensource software in the community.

The community addition has to be tested as user choose the community addition and then use commercial.

    Franklin

Thanks for Reply but I already did that. I already patched new patch which you people provide in that link.
    My problem remains same
I hope you got time and already gone through information which I provide you previously.
I would like to say something more
Franklin we know that if we need advanced help then me must pay for that but what I personally feel is importing and exporting contact is a very basic process of sugarcrm and it must be tested well.
As you say you people first test it then you provide but I feel if someone found something wrong or not in working position then you must welcome that issue and think about it why that issue arise.
You people must take care of open source users to make your product more usable and popular.

Anyways I still face same problems which I told you before.

If you or your person have time for open source user then please help me .I feel glad if I got help from you people.
