    Question Windows Installer question

I downloaded sugarcrm-bitrock-4.2.1a-windows-installer. What I need to know is: is this for my server? In other words my computer is Windows, but my server is linux. Should I use the Linux installer or Windows?

    Default Re: Windows Installer question

    Hi providencebooks,

It depends on the system where you want to install the application. This is the system from where you will be accessing the application. It doesn't matter on which system you are working, as it is the web based application so it will always open in a web browser like IE, FF, etc.

In your case you should take the Linux installer if you want to install the application on the Linux server. On the other hand, if you want to install SugarCRM locally on your system i.e. Windows, then you would require the Windows installer pack.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
