Work Schedule module / workaround?

I've played with the included SugarCRM calendar and looked over the available modules but was unable to find what I was looking for. I thought I'd ask if anyone else had solved the same need.

We are looking for the ability for supervisors to set up bi-weekly work schedules for their workers. This could of course be done in the Calendar module but only on a per day basis - too tedious to be useful. I was hoping for a view that would allow for the rapid delineation of blocks of time across a longer scale, say up to a month.

Any thoughts?
