Workflow email alerts

I am trying to figure out why a particular email alert sent from the workflow engine is not working properly. This alert is genereated by the Leads Module. and it is firing correctly as to when and what information is contained in the lead. However the link within the alert that points to the lead itself does not navigate to the lead, it sends the user to their home page instead.

In the email alert template the format for the link is:
{::href_link::Leads::href_link::}

which produces a link in the email:

http://sugar.xyz.com/index.php?modul...f-452a6781f5ba

the module parameter in the above URl does not contain a value so that appears to be the problem, however what is the solution?

what is your Sugar version? The link to the lead in an alert email is correct on our 4.5.0d installation.

We are running 4.2.0d. I believe the last bug is the applicable one as we have a customized lead module. However the fix does not appear to be done yet,
