I work for a small startup. We have looked at several CRM type pieces of software and have yet to 'match up' with any one piece. After working with Sugar for several days, I have these questions.

My desires:
1. Start page - all calendars for group (designatable) appear side by side (3 or 4 to page)
2. Project/task page - all projects/tasks for group appear side by side
3. Prospect/customer/channel distributors - ability to pull each up / enter each type without muddling them together

Questions:
1. Is this possible with Sugar?
2. Is this possible without EXTENSIVE mods (like rewriting the whole app)?
3. Your thoughts on my desires (practicality, etc.)

Thanks for the input. Sugar seems to be created in the same way that most CRMs are created nowadays. It is heavily oriented towards Sales. We need that but do sales a bit differently that the traditional hierarchical competitive model. (We are seriously attempting the TEAM concept.) Also, the help desk is an integral part of the sales/service model. So our software must fit that mold. As a small company, it is important to know what everyone (CEO on down) is focused on. Few if any secrets are allowed. (Again, anathema to modern American companies!)

If you know of another product that would fit our ideas better, please let me know.

PS. I should have mentioned that we are all techie/programmer types so don't DUMB it down.
