Hi Rolus Team, I have two questions about your plugin:

1. Why so many installation steps? Scheduler Jobs can be added via the manifest and the scheduler itself could be created via the post_install function.
2. How does this differ from just using Sugar's built-in IMAP capabilities to pull Gmail emails?

Please note the following response:-

1. Why so many installation steps? Scheduler Jobs can be added via the manifest and the scheduler itself could be created via the post_install function.

Schedulers can be created via manifest by copying the _AddJobsHere.php to its location but there is a possibility that the file may already exist and someone has written his/her own scheduler. To avoid overriding of the functionality we have decided the admin to make sure everything works.

2. How does this differ from just using Sugar's built-in IMAP capabilities to pull Gmail emails?

The pulling of emails is not different; the plugin uses the IMAP configurations i.e. username, password to pull contacts, documents and calendar along with emails.
