Hi All

We currently have a Goldmine installation which we want to replace with SugarCRM. One of the requirements for our project is the use of address verification software at point of capture, to ensure better data quality. I've seen a demo of the QAS product which looks excellent, but I've found them to very circumspect about costs and price breaks on licensing. Has anyone ever implemented QAS with Sugar and if so how did it pan out on costs?

Are there any alternative products which will work natively with Sugar in the same way QAS does?

QAS is about the only off the shelf solution that is currently available.

There are other possibilities, but would require some custom coding. I believe StrikeIron offers a number of web services one can use for that task, but again, I don't recall them having anything prepackaged that would work with Sugar.

I realize that this post was a dated while ago, but in case you are still looking for an address verification service, I have one you might want to try.

SmartyStreets is an internet-based service that I think can help you out. SmartyStreets does not plug directly into SugarCRM, and I'm not aware of any other services that do (except maybe QAS). I know that there are some direct plugins for Salesforce, but that is a different issue.

Within your CRM, if you are able to access a web API, (and have some XML skills) then you will be able to utilize some of the web-based address verification services that are out there. Most of the address companies have one. Ours is called LiveAddress. Feel free to contact me with questions about any aspect of address verification.
