Automating emails (forwarding emails and replies)

I hope that I am putting this in the right section - my apologies if this is the wrong place.

I'm looking for something that will help us automate a very time consuming process involving emails.

Currently this happens:

We have a number of properties/accommodation listed across a variety of websites.
People interested in staying at one of the properties will send an email asking about prices/availability through an online contact form.
This form comes through to us on one email account specifically set up for this purpose.
We forward the question on to the owner/agent of the property.
The owner replies and we forward the reply on to the guest.
This goes back and forth until we get a decision (hopefully a booking!).

We can't send the questions and replies directly (taking us out of the equation completely) as this would allow people to provide phone numbers, email addresses, etc. and break out of the system (and avoid paying our commission).

We would like to fully automate this process - with the option to dip in and out of the emails going in/out every day - to check that no-one is breaking the rules (chase up anyone that owes us a booking commission, etc.).

Is this possible with Sugar or am I barking up the wrong tree?
