    Default Beginner Question

This is a real beginner question but I just don't seem to see how to figure it out.

I've been setting up sales people in Sugar and importing contacts, accounts, and leads for them.

How can I create managers that can manage a group of sales people and executives that can manage the managers and the sales people (i.e. get a global view of the sales organization)?

Right now, logged in as the default admin I can only see my accounts, not those I've imported for others.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just pointing me to the right document.

I assume you are using the OS version of Sugar. When you create a User you can assign the person to his boss "Reports to". This gives the boss access to that persons data etc.
    Cheers Malcolm

I want to partition the accounts into groups so that a territory manager can only see those accounts in his territory and his manager sees all accounts of all territory managers under him.
But we have teams instead of people so that multiple people are managing the same territory (and share accounts). And the manager above has to allow his assitants access to what he has. Is this possible?

You may want to look at the professional version of SugarCRM as well. They have a really well defined method for creating teams, assigning users to teams, and then you can apply the team to the contat, lead, opp, etc.. Then, anyone in that group has access.

I am a novice to Sugar CRM. I am currently taking a course on System Development and Procurement. I am writing a report on Customer Relationships Management. But, I need help as regards the functionality of each of the sections of the SugarCRM (Marketing Automation, Sales Force Automation, Customer Service & Support) to help me draw the use case diagrams and complete my assignment. Please help me.

    Thank you.
