Our sales folks have made a pretty simple yet very logical request after looking at sugar 4.5 - a simple call management interface

Right now, if they need to make a call if they are on the new home tab (which is pretty great)
They will look at their calls
Click on the view call (to get the phone number of the contact if it is a contact, and if it is a lead, click even more)
Click on the edit button (so they can add notes to the description, because most of our senior guys don't want to clutter up the notes area with small notes related to the call)
Click cancel, if they are in the middel of a call because they reach the intended party and they want to view the summary information, and they have to get to the contact to do that

and so on, and so on...

on the calls dashlet have
the contact or lead, with the ability to show the phone number right in the dashlet, (and click to make the call), and then drill to the edit call

On the edit call screen, would it not make sense to have:
the contact infomation related to the call (phone number)
an ability to drill to the contact quickly (to see the notes, and initiate other activities, like send a followup email, initiate a task)
while having the ability to edit the description

On the view call window, the ability to edit the description very quickly (like the new inline edit note feature)

If this is all wrong, and there is a better way to do it, please share. All the guys want to do is easily make, record call notes, and initiate tasks and activities while they are in the call

Thanks for your help and feedback. I'd be keen to know if others are having the same issue. (I posted in the feature requests as well, but I am looking for an implementable work around too!)
