Leads by Industry

Hey there,

I have to import VCards with Leads, sorted by different industries.

Now I would like to assign those different industry types to the leads. I'm thinking off an additional dropdown menu within the lead form. No idea if this is possible (--> rookie :-))

Afterwards I need to search for leads by those different industry types.

Any ideas of how to implement that?

For this change you have to do the follow:

1. Two options: Include new options in the current industry field of leads or create a new field with the new options.

2. Add the industry field (or the new field if you create it) in the searchdefs panel of leads module.

If you have some doubtto implement so of these steps, please let me know.

Edit: I figured out, how to create the field but it is yet not appearing in the lead module.

Hi,

Can you please let me know how to edit "industry" dropdown? I have to add some more in it(like Hotels, Food and Beverage, etc..).

I did it from Studio, but its not reflecting in the dropdown when i create a new account.

I m using 4.5.0 Sugar CRM.

Pls help! :-)
