Microsoft Word Mailmerge

My company has a standard microsoft word template for contracts with multiple fields. Before coming to SugarCRM we used ACT6.0 and was able to create a template that would automatically populate contact information into the template from a contact record in ACT.

I have looked into doing something similar with Sugar but have not had much luck. Has anyone attempted this, or know of any possible work arounds?

I looked at Zuckeroffice but it is a bit confusing being that it is a german product. I'm also not neccesarily interested in doing a full out mail merge but simply taking contact information from one record and putting in into the template.

My first idea was to use the V-card to pull the info into the template, but I have not been able to make that work.

Any guidance or suggestions would be much appreciated.

The product you are looking for is called ZuckerReports, and it is available in german and english (as well as the website). It can be used to do a common mailmerge with a microsoft word template and data from Sugar.
