Need help; How to connect a live database to SugarCRM ?

Dear users,

We are currently implementing the Sugar CRM program for a internet based business.

This business lives of customers that registrate on a online site, and is then contacted by a consultant.

So here is the deal;

We would like the Sugar Crm to capture the live feeds that is registred from the website!
For information the website distributes the customer data to a database .

Is there anyone that could help or link to a thread that would be equivalent ?
