Default Newbie Question: How to add business contacts with sub contacts

    Hi Everyone,

I've got into sugarcrm for a mass telesales project I am about to embark on. It's business to business sales and I am looking for a way of inputing a business as a contact and then add a person at that business as a contact.

I realise i am wording this badly so here's a diagram

CRM ----> BUSINESS NAME(Name, Phone, Address) ---------> MANAGER (All other info I can grab specific to that person.

I've looked around the forums but couldn't find anything. Is there a way of setting this up or just name businesses as contacts?

    All the best,

    R

    Hey rossmalone,

Are you looking for a way to import a list of businesses and then associate contacts to that business?

The most logical way of doing it that springs to mind is to create them as leads ( as I am guessing thats what they would be ). This can be done by importing a list from a spreadsheet.

This way, during the process of contacting the lead, you can add more information if needed and convert them into Contacts and Accounts within the system.

    Hope this helps
