I've just had a 100+ field disappearing act and I suspect there's something to do with enhanced studio at the heart of it.
I'm completely lost as to why this would happen. On my production machine I'm running 5.2 WAMP. The instance that is exhibiting this truly odd behavior is 5.2 Windows IIS 6 using MySql database.
I have everything running smashingly on my production copy. Same database is being used and everything. When i uploaded a copy of the production instance it at first acts perfectly. Then when I go into to change the code in a custom button field that I made with enhanced studio ... BOOM! Over 120 checkbox fields and the nine other custom button fields that contain similar information also disappear from studio and are no longer functional within sugar. I don't know why the other checkbox fields would be effected and none of my other custom fields other than that the checkboxes were added after the buttons were when producing the sugar instance.
And then, when I go into recreate the fields, the custom buttons (that open new windows via an openwin() function) all refer to the URL that is in the code of the custom button code that initially set off the process regardless of what I put in the new buttons' code fields.
I guess I could just go back to the production instance, change the URLs before I upload it again and never touch those fields again, but that wouldn't fix the problem with my system. I'm probably going to have to do that now for the time being, but I really would like some help.
Any insight into why this would happen would be greatly appreciated.
