    Default 4.2.1c->4.5.0g: dir(./logs) failed in entry_point_scan.ph

    During the upgrade I get the following error message (upgrade quits):

    Including: /www/htdocs/xxxx/cache/upload//upgrades/temp/ioPxOi/scripts/pre_install.php
    Warning: dir(./logs) [function.dir]: failed to open dir: Permission denied in /www/htdocs/xxxx/cache/upload/upgrades/temp/ioPxOi/scripts/entry_point_scan.php on line 44
    Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /www/htdocs/xxxx/cache/upload/upgrades/temp/ioPxOi/scripts/entry_point_scan.php on line 45

    Thank you for any help.

    Hi,
    You may not have a read permission to /www/htdocs/xxxx/cache/upload//upgrades/temp/ioPxOi/scripts/. What is the current permissions?

    This sounds like file and directory permissions. The web server user must have write permissions to the sugarcrm directory. You can check out the support wiki which will have many areas regarding installation and directory permissions. look here.
