4.2.1d files may only be used with 4.2.1 database

Hi all,
Just tried the first stage of upgrading Sugar from v 4.2.0d to v4.5 by applying upgrade 4.2.0-4.2.1d, and now, whilst the upgrade procedure informed me it had completed successfully, I cannot now access Sugar at all. I get the message "SugarCRM .2.1d files may only be used with 4.2.1 database". As far as I am concerned I have 4.2.1 database but how do I verify this? If I look in the "Config" table in SugarCRM via myPHPAdmin, no value is shown in "sugar_version". If I try to enter a value, nothing appears to be stored and I still cannot gain access. Any ideas how I can get this mess straightened out

OS: Windows 2003 R2 Server
Sugar version: 4.2.1d (was 4.2.0d before upgrade)
Webserver: Apache 2.0.54
PHP: 5.0.4
mySQL: 4.1.13

You need to look in the config table in the DB as well as the sugar_version.php in the docroot.

Make sure they match.

i have encountered this one when im connecting to another database.. obviously the other database doesnt have the config table... thats it problem solved....

If sugar database doesn't have config table then there is serious issue with the sugar db.

no my other database doesnt have.. but the sugar database have..

ofcourse when you try to retrieve from a table that doesnt exist then its that..
