We are using SugarCRM 4.5.0g Open Source edition with PHP 5.2.0 on Windows 2003.

There is a strange behaviour exhibited in the creation of custom fields.

For example, when a custom field is created from the Studio>Accounts>Edit Custom Fields section, it subsequently appears in the Custom Fields list. Then, going into various layout sections, the custom field is available for addition to views.

However, when custom fields are added inline during the Edit Layout procedure (you click the Add a Custom Field button, and a popup gives you the options, and you save the new custom field), the custom field does appear immediately and is available for inclusion in the view you are working on, but then when you go back to Studio>Accounts>Edit Custom Fields>View Custom Fields, the added fields do not appear immediately. It can take 30 minutes for them to appear there.

Is there something that can be done to make them appear more readily? I tried Clear Cache, and that doesn't seem to do it.
